Kitten Tooth Brushing

Kitten Tooth Brushing

Good dental health can help prevent a variety of health conditions in later life, and it’s best to start brushing teeth early so pets get accustomed to it.

80% of adult pets have signs of dental disease but thankfully with a good dental routine it is avoidable. Daily brushing is the best way to prevent the build-up of plaque and tartar, and you’ll be given a dental cleaning demo at your pet’s Free Nurse Kitten Clinic.

TIP:

  • Get your cat accustomed to having it's mouth handled first before using a brush and paste
  • Only ever use paste that is designed for cats
  • Aim for daily brushing from an early age
