Nail Clipping

Nail Clipping

More than just looking good...

Some dogs naturally wear down their nails when walking and they rarely need trimming.  For others nail trimming needs to be a regular and important part of their grooming routine. If your dog’s nails get too long, they can break, which is painful and sometimes results in infection. They can also curl around and puncture the paw. Overgrown nails can also affect the way that your dog walks putting a strain on the joints and ligaments.

It's very common for dog owners to feel uncomfortable about clipping their dog's nails, especially if they're unsure about how it should be down. Our veterinary nurses will show you how to trim the nails safely and comfortably, or if you prefer you make an appointment for a nurse to do this for you.
