Lesley Docherty

Lesley is the longest serving member of Team Links, having joined the practice in 1990 after leaving school to study Veterinary Nursing and gaining a placement within our Musselburgh branch. To this day Lesley considers hers as the best job she’s ever had!

Working solely in our Musselburgh surgery, Lesley is the heartbeat of the Links Vet Neutering Team, and is responsible for every aspect from client administration to patient admission and discharge, and the smooth running and maintenance of the Theatre and Ward. Alongside Glen, Lesley has now been the lead nurse in over 20,000 companion animal neuterings.

Lesley has been married for over 25 years and lives locally with her husband and their daughter. In her spare time, Lesley is an avid Lawn bowler, who has represented her club at regional level. Proof of a steady hand if ever there was!
