Domestic Pets

Dogs

At the Links Veterinary Group we don’t just treat your pet when something is wrong, we’re always on hand to provide advice.

We are very proud of our series of in-house clinical protocols which ensure each animal is treated in the same, most efficacious manner regardless of which vet gives the advice or which surgery is attended. These protocols cover such common problems as osteoarthritis, heart problems, diabetes mellitus and skin complaints.

We also provide a comprehensive service to assist owners keeping their dogs and cats at a healthy weight, a problem which can so often cause considerable heart ache and disappointment among pet owners.

Many of these conditions can benefit hugely from the selection, guided by the veterinary surgeon, of a therapeutic diet. These can assist with such wide ranging medical problems as kidney disease and heart failure right through to less acute problems for example osteoarthritis. Our vets can all advise what avenues are most worth pursuing with regards nutrition of your pets.
