The Links Vet Group has an extensive equine client list, and aims to offer advice and help with all manner of equine health issues.

We have extensive contact with Duncrahill stud, which has excellent facilities that we have access to, for procedures including artificial insemination, isolation boxes, restricted movement courts, pens for anaesthesia and recovery, and an Xray room.

The stud itself offers many of these facilities to the local equine community for private use.

Hills Pet Nutrition

The Links Vet Group believes that food is the single most consistent event in your pets life. Whatever else your pet encounters in its daily routine, food will always be proffered. And from a fundamental view point, the health of your pet will be affected by what is provided as food. Everything that is needed to maintain health and prevent disease, is provided by the nutrition available within that dog food.

The Links Vet Group is convinced that the best range of pet foods available to both maintain health before illness strikes, and to treat illness when present, is provided by the worlds leading pet nutrition company, Hills Pet Nutrition, and as a result, we stock and offer the entire Hills dog and cat food range.

Maintenance diets are provided under the Science Plan range, and the Prescription Diet range offers foods only available from vets, as an adjunct to other disease treatments.

Pet Micro-chipping

The Links Vet Group promotes micro-chipping of all pets. Cheap, safe and effective, microchips provide an indelible method of identifying animals, and thereby facilitating the return of lost or strayed animals to their owners.

The Tracer Microchip is the perfect way of ensuring your pets can be easily reunited with you should they get lost or go missing.  Tracer is also the method of pet identification most used by veterinary surgeons in the UK.
