Judy Wilkes BVetMed(hons) MRCVS
I’m originally from Berkshire and graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in London in the summer of 2010. After a short break I started work at the Links Vet Group as a mixed practice vet. I am keen on all aspects of mixed practice and particularly enjoy farm animal work and small animal medicine.
Outside of work I enjoy playing and watching rugby. For the last 5 years I played flanker for the Royal Vet College women’s team and hope to continue playing for a team in the Edinburgh area. I also love snowboarding and hope to escape to the mountains every now and then.
Veterinary Surgeon
I qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 2010 and then worked in mixed practice in Newcastle upon Tyne until I joined the Links Vet Group in April 2011.
When I am not working I enjoy music and theatre as well as singing, dancing and walking my dog Loki. Being new to East Lothian these walks are a good way of getting to know the area.
I am a very keen surgeon and would like to develop my skill levels in this field in the future. I am also a competent rider and enjoy the equine side of mixed practice too.
