Haddington Veterinary Clinic
The Haddington surgery houses the main office and hospitalisation facilities. The majority of the farm and equine work is also undertaken from here.
The surgery in Haddington is now at Alderston Field, Haldane Avenue, and is where the majority of the small animal inpatient case work-up is carried out.
The surgery has recently been equipped with state of the art digital XRay facilities which offer an unprecedented ability to discern previously undetectable changes in joints, bones, chest and abdomen and is more usual in a human hospital than a veterinary one.
Another recent acquisition is a full air powered dental unit allowing both low speed polishing and descaling and high speed drilling and cutting to allow dental work to be performed in the most pain free and stress free manner possible.
The vets in Haddington also have access to full laboratory facilities and ultrasound scanning of the type more usually used to visualise human babies. These tools can be invaluable in investigating sick animals without requiring surgery.
