Horses & Ponies
The Veterinary practice has a large equine bias, with an experienced dedicated team dedicated to all aspects of equine work.
At Links Vet Group, we cover the full spectrum of racehorses, eventers, endurance horses, pleasure horses and children’s ponies.
We work closely with nearby centres of excellence to which we can refer unusually demanding or worrying cases but are able to treat most horses on their home territory.
At Links Vet Group, we also have good working relationships with farriers, physiotherapists and dental experts to give your horse the best chance of a long and healthy life.

Equine Health Plan
As part of our preventative health portfolio we are proud to have developed an Equine Health Plan for our clients and their horses or ponies.
This equine health plan has been designed to attempt to both deal with easily preventable illnesses such as flu, tetanus and parasitic problems but also to give as early a warning as possible about more insidious problems such as other viral infections, anaemia, liver damage etc.
These may not have overt clinical signs but can be highlighted by routine blood tests.
Regular Checks
Additionally we will perform regular checks of your horse’s teeth to ensure problems don’t develop without you knowing.
These services are all combined in a yearly plan with one economical price.
